Nancy is a Professor Emeritus of Education at Lindenwood University in O'Fallon, Missouri. She is a former Director of Curriculum and Gifted Programs in St. Louis County Schools, Director of the Laboratory School at Lindenwood University, and classroom teacher of grades K-8 for 30 years. She, along with her husband Paul, was the owner and publisher of Book Lures, Inc.

Nancy provides State and National Reading and Gifted Conference Keynotes and Presentations and State and National Library/Media Conference Keynotes and Presentations.

She presented at the N.C. Reading Association Conference in Greensboro at the Koury Convention Center in three sessions.

These strategies stretch minds, bring excitement to the reading experience and help students respond to novels in divergent ways. Content reading, topic
focusing, problem solving, readers theatre, topic talking, pre-reading journals and other strategies were
presented.
