"Creating Inexpensive Classroom Literacy Materials."

Explore easy to create literacy resources that add excitement
to the classroom. Interactive book ideas were
shared. Reader’s theater examples for both whole class
and small group applications were included. Center
ideas were displayed and a handout provided.

"Celebrate Literacy with Fiction & Non-fiction Books."

Add to your bag of tricks ideas for unwrapping "a good read
aloud.” Session explored new ways to introduce,
revisit, and "mine the riches" during a story. Techniques
showed ways to get the most involvement from all students regardless of their independent reading levels. A handout was provided.
